GCP DevOps Engineer

Cloud Engineering

We are actively looking for skilled GCP DevOps Engineers to join our growing Cloud Engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, drive automation initiatives, and help our clients achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Pulumi
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Manage GKE clusters, Cloud Run workloads, and serverless architectures
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability with Cloud Monitoring and Datadog
  • Establish security baselines, IAM policies, and compliance controls
  • Collaborate with client teams to define cloud operating models
  • Drive FinOps practices and cost optimization strategies
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal tooling

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform and/or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and container orchestration
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, load balancers, Cloud DNS)
  • Proficiency in scripting — Python, Bash, or Go
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows
  • Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect certification (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing engagements

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Familiarity with data engineering tools (Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub)
  • Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure on GCP (Vertex AI)
  • Open source contributions
